Update #15. Production Company and Art Update

Hello everyone,

Kyle and Leander took a break from an exhausting year to catch their breaths but now they are back in action! But don't worry they haven't just been sitting around playing Baulder's Gate 3 the entire time....that would be silly..... Instead, they signed off on a production company and artist Om Prakash has already started finalizing some of the fan likeness cards that will be going into every edition of Innkeeper! 

So let's start with the production company. Diecaster Games has signed a contract with WhatzGames to fulfill our production needs. We had a great conversation with our production manager Yana and she seems excited to help us get a high-quality product produced as soon as possible. The next steps are to work on production files so we can get all the components for the game created. Kyle is hard at work figuring that out. If anyone knows a graphic designer who loves InDesign and knows how to do die-cut stuff we would welcome a reference. Maybe a free copy of the game signed by Leander and Kyle would entice someone to provide some technical assistance?? :-) 

But get ready for the real juicy part of this update. New artwork based on the likeness of people that backed the Ultimate-Inn or Ultimate-Inn - Demanded! Hot off the presses, Om has already completed two new cards and more are on the way! Please take a look below. Update #14. WE DID IT!!!

So many emotions this morning as the Kickstarter page closed. I got on a call with Kyle and we just had a moment of appreciation for where we are while looking towards the future. We plan to do a Post-Kickstarter Project debrief on Monday to make sure we keep the things that truly  helped us grow and let go of the things that don't serve us moving forward. 

Kyle and I have put our hearts and souls into this process. You learn so much about yourself (the good, the great, the bad, and the ugly) when you get vulnerable and release something like this into the world and depend on others to make your dream come true. We were thankful to have each other throughout this process and continue to be amazed by our friendship and working relationship. 

We are also thankful we had all of you supporting us along the way. To have so many friends and family show up the way you did blew us away. To know how much we are loved and supported is heartwarming. Also to all the backers that knew nothing about us yet backed us based on the art, the playstyle, the representation, and the hype....thank you for trusting us! Your trust was not misplaced. 

Kyle and I are going to do everything we can to get this game in your hands quickly. For those of you wondering......yes we will include Walt, The Loyal Hound into this copy of Innkeeper thanks to those of you that voted on the last update! All other stretch goals will help support the next Kickstarter which will be an expansion to Innkeeper with even more proprietors, treachery cards, awesome customers, and amazing assets. Also...a 5-6 player expansion??? Expect to hear more from us next year. :-)

Update #13. Last 24hrs! Go for the Stretch Goals

Hello friends. We are in the last 24hrs and we are hoping to get as many stretch goals to you as possible. The first few are card we have been playtesting on Table Top Simulator and we think are ready to be included in the game. Below are 3 cards we really love. Please put in the comments below: Which card are you most excited to see added to the game? Maybe if we don't hit the stretch goal we will be kind and still put that card in the game for you as a show of gratitude. But we want to see the comment boxes flooded below!!! A simple request. 

Update #12. Speechless....100% funded!

Words cannot express. To be 100% funded tonight......we  believed in our hard work and we believed in each of you, but seeing it feels like a dream come true. Sometimes you work so hard and hope so strongly that you just keep your head down and get to work no matter the obstacles. When you know you aren't going to give up you don't think about the incremental progress you are making. But today we can pull our heads up and enjoy this amazing thing we have accomplished together. 

Thank you all for believing in us. We have a ton of stretch goals so I guess in the last 48 hours we will see how many stretch goals we can achieve. We will take a moment to breathe and enjoy this moment. We know more is to come!

Update #11. A Birthday Wish!

Oh wow this process really is trying to stress out Leander and Kyle to the wire LOL. Their response. Time for a celebration on a Tuesday because it is Leander's birthday and we are so grateful to be at 85% funded! Leander's only wish is to be fully funded by the end of this week. We feel confident we will get the last bit of funds to make sure this game is mass produced. We have learned so much and you can bet we will come back even stronger when we do the expansion to Innkeeper and when we bring you the next best game on the market. Help us keep a positive spirit. Just believe in this game and in us!
