Update #19. Surveys are coming!

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://innkeeper.backerkit.com.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://innkeeper.backerkit.com/faq.

Update #18 - Player mat finalized, digital files uploaded, and Discord channel ready

We are very excited to share some updates. We finalized all files and our production team, Whatz Games, is reviewing our files and will be ready to press print if they all meet their standards! Cross all your fingers, b/c it means they can press print to mass-produce Innkeeper! See the artwork below.

Behind the scenes, our artist Om finalized the player mat you ordered. It is incredibly thematic and functional. An original art piece by Om that will keep your game organized. We think this will be selling like hotcakes when we go to conventions and local craft fairs. 

We also started a Diecaster Games Discord Channel! We would love for you to check it out, share it with friends, and tell us what you want to see. You can set up times to playtest Innkeeper with your friends and we will also begin playtesting Innkeeper the Expansion! Exciting stuff!

For now we will keep working on the boring stuff behind the scenes but will try to keep you all updated as best as possible. Enjoy the Spring weather!

Update #17. Progress

Hello all. Thanks again for your support of Innkeeper. We have now finished all Likeness art cards and we are preparing files for print. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks. Then it is off to print and then the Loooooooooooonnnnnnng wait for shipping from China to U.S. We are still looking pretty good for that November timeline we provide in the Kickstarter. While you wait, here are some likeness art from our special supporters. 

Update #16. Progress, Next Kickstarter, and New Art

Hello Backers,

We are excited to let you know that we are back in our momentum and have been doing a lot of work in the background to finalize art for the game including the likeness cards and the player mat! We will provide a sneak preview of the player mat here once we get a final design from our artist, Om. 

We also wanted to let you know that Kyle and I have been hard at work creating elements for our next Kickstarter sometime in 2025, the Expansion to Innkeeper! This will include new characters, new and increased number of cards, and yes, because you demanded it, a 5-6 player version of the game! We are playtesting the elements now in Tabletop Simulator. Interested in playtesting? We will be inviting everyone to a Discord channel in about two months. Join the Discord, join our community, and sign up to playtest the updated version. Currently, we have two marketing students from the University of Minnesota doing some research into Discord to help us make sure we cultivate the best experience possible for you and future Innkeepers!

Update #15. Production Company and Art Update

Hello everyone,

Kyle and Leander took a break from an exhausting year to catch their breaths but now they are back in action! But don't worry they haven't just been sitting around playing Baulder's Gate 3 the entire time....that would be silly..... Instead, they signed off on a production company and artist Om Prakash has already started finalizing some of the fan likeness cards that will be going into every edition of Innkeeper! 

So let's start with the production company. Diecaster Games has signed a contract with WhatzGames to fulfill our production needs. We had a great conversation with our production manager Yana and she seems excited to help us get a high-quality product produced as soon as possible. The next steps are to work on production files so we can get all the components for the game created. Kyle is hard at work figuring that out. If anyone knows a graphic designer who loves InDesign and knows how to do die-cut stuff we would welcome a reference. Maybe a free copy of the game signed by Leander and Kyle would entice someone to provide some technical assistance?? :-) 

But get ready for the real juicy part of this update. New artwork based on the likeness of people that backed the Ultimate-Inn or Ultimate-Inn - Demanded! Hot off the presses, Om has already completed two new cards and more are on the way! Please take a look below.
